The announcement was made shortly after Philip Shabu was impeached as Deputy Governor of Edo State.
Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State have appointed Omobayo Godwin as his deputy for the remainder of his tenure as the administrative leader of the state.
This development was announced following Philip Shaibu’s impeachment.
Omobayo’s swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2024, at the Edo State Government House in Benin City.
